Please don’t feed the fear …

FDR famously said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

As someone who lives with a psychiatric service dog, I think I know a thing or two about the consequences when fear drives the bus. I contend that heart is the antidote to fear. It’s how we humans are organized. When events in our lives threaten and challenge we have to dig deep and maintain heart for the journey. Heart is where we nurture and store our courage and resolve.

The events in San Bernardino have left me feeling particularly vulnerable and so for this Music Monday I leave with you two of my personal favorites for helping me fight through the fear and keep my heart in the game.
